To obtain a regular booking, you must be registered in the Tampere Tennis Center’s reservation system, which is also where the bookings are managed.
Regular bookings are always valid until further notice and have a one-month notice period. You can pay for your booking directly through the reservation system and any unpaid bookings are invoiced once a month.
Please note that the Tennis Center has separate summer and indoor seasons, and bookings are sold separately for each. You can always find the exact season dates on the contact information page. Generally, the summer season starts at the end of May and continues until early August, after which the indoor season begins. Opening hours also vary slightly between seasons.
Managing a regular booking
In all sports, you can store or put your regular booking up for sale by logging into the reservation system and clicking “My bookings.”
If there are more than 24 hours before the start of your booking, you will see a “bank/store” button next to the booking, which allows you to store it. If there are fewer than 24 hours before the booking, only the “sell” button appears, which still allows you to offer the booking for sale.
After storing a booking, you can see your stored minutes under “My information.” When paying for a single (non-regular) booking, the “bank” payment option appears if you have stored time for that sport.
A regular booking cannot be cancelled; it can only be stored or put up for sale. The reception desk cannot store bookings on behalf of customers — this must be done by the customer themselves.
If someone books a slot that you have put up for sale, you will not be charged for the portion that was sold. Stored bookings accumulate stored minutes, which can be used to book a single session of the same sport at another time. All stored bookings are automatically added to the invoice.
Stored minutes are valid until the end of the season, or if you continue your regular booking into the next season, the stored minutes from the previous season remain valid until December of the next season. Outdoor court stored minutes are valid as long as the outdoor courts remain open. Stored bookings can be paid from the “My bookings” page, and any unpaid bookings are invoiced according to normal billing practices.
If a regular booking is terminated, the stored minutes remain usable until the end of that season.
Note! A stored booking cannot be removed from storage.
